White Noise Sleep System is a sound playback scheduler for Windows. The application allows you to create new events that work like reminders on a calendar. When a certain event is going to happen, the application will play a sound for you. Now, the application is intended to be used as a White Noise player, but can be used with any noise and for other purposes. White Noises are usually used to cover other noises on the background. White noises usually come in the form of rain, a fan or any constant form of sound. White Noise Sleep System does a great job of playing those. By default, the application comes with 8 different samples. 4 of them are rain sounds and other 4 are fan sounds. They are OK, but the great thing about WNSS is that you can add and play any .wav or mp3 sound of your own. You can too play any song you want. You can also have the application stop playing at a specific time or even carry out another action when the event is going to happen. For example, you can have WNSS shut down your computer or even decrease the volume at intervals. You can also specify volume levels for the wave controller. |
